New PR at the Delaware Marathon

Congrats to our coaching client Nagesh Kolli on running a marathon PR of 4:31:44 at his 6th marathon! He writes,

“It was a great experience working with Coach Antonio to train for my Delaware marathon. I am very thankful for his insight into training, he guided me very well through out the last five months. Under his training I was able achieve a half marathon PR of 1:53:35 PR and a marathon PR 4:31:44.

New PR at the Delaware Marathon

The Delaware Marathon course was a challenging one, which we did expect, and planned accordingly to take it.

In spite of challenging course I was able to push thru, and like Coach Antonio said, I showed the course who is the Boss.. :). I did pretty good until 21 miles, and then the temps got little hotter than expected.

This was my first marathon where I didn’t walk , even though, I slowed down in the last 2 to 3 miles, never came a thought to walk or take a break. I am now recovering slowly, and will have to get ready to enjoy summer by traveling a little bit. then I have to start training for Nov 23rd Philly Marathon.

Also I would like to thank Coach Nichole for talking to me during the selection process of my search for a running coach. Definitely MTA, and the coaches in MTA are a great bunch of people, helping the running community as much as you can.

Hope to talk to you, and meet you in person of all MTA team one of these days in the future. Until then I’ll keep running till the day I can’t run anymore.” -Nagesh Kolli.
