    Angie,
The link to the Fat Adaptive Eating Plan doesn’t work.
It goes to an expired shopping cart.
Thanks for your chat with Trevor about sugar. I thought you were talking about ME the whole time. Except I don’t crave sugar, I crave the grains themselves.
Let me know when the link is fixed.
    Thanks,
    Terri

Thank you so much for sharing this! My husband and I are currently on day 5 of a 21-day sugar detox. Although we have been eating a whole food diet for over two years now, we have never completely given up sugar or grains.

We are excited to already see some great results (amid the pesky detox symptoms 😉 and although I am not sure to what extent we will cut out grains and sugar after the detox, I am excited to see what of the detox will carry over into our way of eating, and how cutting out grains and sugars for this time will benefit my running!

Thanks again, this is a great personal testimony and gives me hope to press on for 16 more days of detoxing!

. I am learning so much as I go through your website and podcasts. My number one issue with running is nutrition. I have a huge history with eating well for a period then I just all out binge for a day or two. This cycle has wreaked havoc on my GI track and causes me to feel depressed and out of control. Before signing up I had just introduced steel cut oats and Ezekiel bread into my diet because I was running out of food options!! I have still found myself on this crazy cycle. Maybe this fat adapted diet will work for me too!!! Now do you have a plan to get husbands and children on board? Lol!! I love them but they sure can sabotage my eating plans!!

    Hi Mary,

I feel your pain. I used to binge on sugar and other junk. Like Angie I have found that cutting out grains helped me break this habit. It’s weird how these two things are connected. You should definitely go through the Fat Adapted section of the Academy and give it a try. Just remember that there is an adjustment period to get through where you may feel like crap. If you have any questions you can send them in through the support form in the Academy. Thanks for being a member.
